With Windows System Resource Manager (WSRM), IT administrators can allocate hardware resources to processes or to Terminal Services users. WSRM can manage the access of each process to system resources and reduce interference of one application with another, allowing multiple applications to coexist on the same system more efficiently.
WSRM enables the allocation of resources, including processor and memory resources, among multiple applications or Terminal Services users based on business priorities. With WSRM, you can implement tight operational processes to help meet your service level requirements, maximize the return on your IT investments, and manage a changing mix of workloads.
