The Introduction is a short film, created with Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas' video engine, and serves as a prequel to GTA San Andreas that explains the moments that lead up to the events of the game. It was available with the American PlayStation 2 Special Edition of GTA San Andreas and the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas: Official Soundtrack compilation. It is set in 1992, and replaces the need for a Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Stories prequel like Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories (which explain the events leading up to Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, respectively). The film ends directly at the beginning of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, with Sweet Johnson informing his brother, Carl Johnson, over telephone that their mother, Beverly, is dead.
Sunday Driver is a behind-the-scenes look at California's low rider car club, The Majestics. Directed by Carol Strong, Sunday Driver chronicles the work and dedication of The Majestics car club as they attempt to create the ultimate in custom vehicles while attempting to legitimize their lifestyle under the scrutiny of the authorities. Featuring interviews, a behind-the-scenes look at the actual work that goes into building these vehicles and more, the film is a no-holds-barred look at the underground car modification scene.
